Hospital Tour

MONDAY OF SPRING BREAK

Since the Clarks knew us when we were in Vet School...

the next thing on the agenda for their Spring Break Arizona visit was a tour of Bruce's hospital.

Dr. Vernon (my husband) and Dr. Jennings (my cousin who works for Bruce) gave us the tour. They are so funny. I told Bruce not to be LAME on the tour, but to make it like an official tour. ha ha, it was awesome.

Dr. V is showing us gross stuff he has in formaldehyde jars... like worms he's gotten out of dogs, body parts, etc...

Bruce took us in to the surgery room and did an ultrasound on Logan, ha ha. He even identified some of his inner organs.

Dr. J showed us some interesting X-Rays, like crazy stuff inside dogs tummies that had to be surgically removed.

Overall... Bruce and Casey's tour got an A+.

They are so funny, I'm jealous of that work environment, you know they have a good time. Casey graduated from Vet School at CSU last May, so he's worked for Bruce for almost a year. (I posted pics on my blog of his graduation last May, that we flew to Colorado for and stayed at the Clarks house!) He's a great Doctor.

After the tour we took them to Joe's BBQ (of course)...

then to Freestone Park for some good ol' Arizona "Summer Sledding"

...even though we have awesome "summer sleds", Logan had to try it out in Sophie's stroller. ha ha.

Then Monday night we took them for a Laser Tag challenge:
