To remember

A few random things I wanted to remember:

Bruce and/or I always tuck the kids in at night when they go to sleep. Then later before we go to bed, we check on them after their asleep. Last night at about 10:30pm Bruce went to check on the kids on his way to bed. He saw Emma move in her bed, so he went closer to make sure she was asleep. Then she stood up half asleep and started walking. So he followed her. As she was walking down the hallway...

Bruce said, "Emma- where are you going?"

Emma, "Downstairs"

Bruce, "Why?"

Emma, "to read scriptures"

Bless her heart, she thought it was 5:50am and he was waking her up for family scripture study. That was so tender to me, that she must have felt incredibly tired, having had 1 hour of sleep, but she got up, in the dark, that quickly anyway.

We love how 2 yr old Sophie says "Hold You" when she wants someone to hold her. I think many toddlers say this, and its the sweetest. So of course, we all say it to her too. The other day Ashlin was sitting next to her in the car (because Sophie cries if anyone but Ashlin sits next to her)...

Ashlin kept holding out her hands and saying "Hold You!" to Sophie.

Sophie told her "NO hold you!" Then she paused and added "I'm serious"

We all laughed... its so fun to hear our little baby trying out new phrases.
