Lake of the Woods

It was a good fishing day... pretty much everyone caught fish.

Mostly little catfish.

We all can't get enough of how little & cute & funny Sophie is. We are always trying to hug & squeeze on her... see how she loves it, ha ha:

Goes to Dallin

Everyone was catching little catfish or blue gills.

So while the others had all the fishing poles... Dallin took a string in his hand (picture above) and put a worm on the end. With his bare hands holding the string, he caught the biggest cat fish of the day:

 They kept hoping to get a trout so they could eat it, but had only gotten cat fish and blue gill. About 10 minutes after Dallin caught the biggest catfish.... he had this net in his hand and saw a big trout in the water. So he jumped up and grabbed the fish with just the net and his bare hands. ha ha. Biggest Fish caught of the day, and the only trout. ha ha. 

Who needs fishing poles?

The Statens ate his trout for dinner.
