This summer was a fun milestone in our families life.
Our oldest child got her first real job!
The kids were all sooo excited to go down and see their sister at work... so we went as a family on her first day:
Ashlin is such a hard worker. Since the shave ice place hired so many kids this summer, she doesn't get a lot of hours... so she took a 2nd job as a scheduler for a landscape company as well. On friday Bruce and I brought her dinner here because that day she had woken up at 5 (like normal) to drive her and her brother to A hour, got out of school and went straight to her landscape job, then went straight from there to her shave ice job and didn't get home until 11. I am so thankful for such a responsible hard working daughter. And she starts a college class in the evenings this month. You go Ashlin.
So rewarding to see your child turning in to a responsible capable hard working adult

Good for her! I heard that shaved ice place is yummy ... maybe we'll have to go visit her sometime. :)
